ASPARi

To support design and development efforts of ASPARiCool project (asphalt cooling rate prediction tool) ASPARi researchers are actively involved into asphalt construction projects with aim of collecting asphalt mixture temperature cooling process data during paving and compaction activities. One of such projects took place in Enschede. During this project two layers of roadway were paved and compacted. Three locations for placing cooling stations (infrared cameras, thermologgers and thermocouples) were identified. For each paved layer asphalt mixture cooling processes have been gathered.
